I started using Chinese herbal medicine to treat pain in recent years. In fact, before I peg away the only treatment with acupuncture to minimize the intake of medical substances, even natural.
The first case that made me change my mind was that of a patient with a pelvic fracture as a result of which he could not move from bed to perform treatments. I have begun to study the most suitable recipes for many of my patients find ancient Shaolin monks used to treat injuries resulting from the fighting.
I then discovered that the herbal medicine is placed against the pain in exactly the same optical acupuncture: to circulate the energy at the point of pain and in particular to move the blood.
The recipes are also products that are used to drain fluid that may accumulate due to inflammation locally and only a few products have anti-inflammatory action in the sense of reducing the inflammatory response.
I started using these recipes agofobici on patients who can not bear even the idea of being treated with acupuncture, rather than death! Before I tried to convince them that a needle could not harm them in any way but over the years I learned that in these cases it is better to find another solution.
Today the patient agofobico not require needles, but the contract with the technique of Myofibrolysis and with the help of Chinese herbal medicine as well as exercises and I must say, the results are very good. One patient treated in this way was the husband of one of my fellow acupuncturist, and his shoulder pain was started for several months but the patient really had wanted to learn acupuncture treatment. He then made a visit with a diagnosis of orthopedic injury and insertional tendinopathy of the rotator cuff, for which he had then undergone arthroscopic surgery.
The postoperative course was very painful and he had, nevertheless, agree to undergo a few treatments of acupuncture for pain relief in order to be able to sleep and deal with more benefit rehabilitation. But, it just started to feel better, the treatments are of course been suspended. Still remains, even after the canonical three months after a very uncomfortable night pain, as well as a limited functional use, why he had decided to undergo surgery.
After a while 'insistence to have finally been able to prescribe a prescription painkiller phytotherapy purposes. A week later the patient reported that we can finally sleep well at night and move more freely, without fear of feeling pain, but did not want to continue with treatment.
After about 8 months complaining about the appearance of the contralateral shoulder pain, orthopedic visit again performed which suggested an arthroscopic surgery to schedule your time, for insertional tendinopathy in the absence of overt injury.
This time the patient contacted me immediately and started taking his herbal remedy continuously, resolving all night behind the pain and also improving his overall condition. Today reports increased well-being and remission of longstanding chronic diarrheal syndrome annoying. E 'pleased with the result and the recent visit to his orthopedic condition of well-being has also convinced the surgeon to give arthroscopic intervention even though a reference was made by the patient about the therapy, phytotherapy still ongoing.
Since then, every patient comes to me agofobico treated Myofibrolysis, any taping, exercises and physical therapy targeted by the addition of prescription analgesic phytotherapy I try to bind to its basic constitution.
The use of Chinese herbal medicine in purely analgesic effect is useful in combination with acupuncture in those numerous patients who live too far away, can not perform treatments too close together, and particularly in patients with severe acute or chronic pain present for more than 20-30 years who can not or do not wish to take traditional pain treatment.
Finally, he offers a useful tool to keep the effects of treatment during the suspension of leave and for those patients stragglers who decide to start treatment near the start for the holidays.

The technique is called as you call it specialization in Chinese herbal medicine, few in Italy to know it well, not all acupuncturists make it and especially not designed by naturopaths or distributed in herbal medicine. So she has to go first on the list FISA acupuncturists in the region where they live and by phone to ask the Chinese herbal medicine practitioner in person. If you need more information please contact me by email or by phone as well, I'll be glad to help her out.
