And 'We all know that the spring season is a very sensitive period. Many patients and typical diseases that tend to worsen in the spring, irritability or anxiety, panic attacks, depression, mood, gastritis and esophagitis, the headache and dizziness are all problems that worsen in the spring.
The spring according to the Chinese Medicine is linked to liver organ, its color is green, its sour taste, the element of wood, his emotion of anger, its characteristic atmospheric wind.
It is no coincidence that many diseases will aggravate in the days of wind. E 'statistical evidence of an increase in stroke in windy days and this too, although more complex to explain, is not a case.
The liver, according to Western medicine, is the body's chemical laboratory, medicine, and many natural substances, such as lactic acid produced after exercise, are metabolized by the liver. His bowels coupled, the gallbladder, called cholecystitis, collects bile produced by the liver to digest food, particularly fats.
The liver suffers when he has to work in excess, and then with diet too rich in fats or various chemicals, such as the popular contraceptive pill, but also of substances or ethyl alcohol.
But there's more: the liver is suffering because of the emotional tensions. In Chinese Medicine it is said that the liver shrinks and hardens, producing an energetic block that can attack the gastrointestinal system or produce abnormal and uncontrolled power to lift up.
The diet in the first place can help us. And 'this season recommended the use of fresh vegetables, preferably green, such as fennel, lettuce, asparagus, artichokes, dandelion.
Useful purpose and recommended use of the purifying centrifuge, like the delicious apple-carrot that if you got breakfast also puts in a good mood.
All seasonal disorders described above are effectively treated with acupuncture, just because with this form of therapy can improve and harmonize the liver in a targeted manner. In addition, there are techniques known as "seasonal" that allow you to tune the organ to the current season, optimizing the action.
Then do not panic and try to enjoy this moment in which nature wears gowns and beautiful.

Dear Cathie, just today I said to colleagues who, for some reason, spring is the worst season for me (although it is beautiful). I feel tired and I want to eat almost exclusively fruits and vegetables (including pasta, that just can not resist!).
And I told them that I feel as though this awakening of nature would involve me too, as if I had to work hard to put on leaves and flowers.
We all laughed, partly because my words had seemed (and wanted to look like) a joke. Now I read this interesting article, I must say, struck me particularly as it confirms my feeling that until a few hours ago I thought more than a figment of my imagination that something actually happens. Really interesting. Thanks. Valeria

I found it very nice, "put on the leaves and flowers" and I think that will use this evocative image. This intuition seems to me an excel much, the body goes from a situation more reflective energy that we associate with the seeds of a condition of externalization and superficializzazione that we associate with flowers and leaves. Thanks
